Our Roots

Destination Aesthetics was founded by Shawna Chrisman, NP and Dr. R. David Ferrera in November 2011. His previous expertise as a medical director of a laser center and Shawna’s comprehensive certification in the field of aesthetics maximized the perfect combination to open a destination for clients, providing nonsurgical options for skin care, face and body treatments. We started with one treatment room and then two, with a combined total space of 375 square feet. Now we are offering 2600 square feet of gorgeous operating space that is dedicated solely to our clients!
